The Senior Social competitions are played twice a year, Season 1 and Season 2. The start dates for each season are January (Season 1) and July (Season 2) each year.

Registration and Fee Structure

Registration Process

We are only accepting team registrations at this stage. You will be sent a link to register with West Brisbane Falcons, once you are registered with the club we will allocate you to your team.

West Brisbane Falcons Club fees:

Our club membership fee for the Seniors is $30.00

Prior to the season starting you will be sent a second link to register in Basketball Connect to register to the competition, where you may be charged the following additional registration fees.

Additional Registrations:

The Basketball Queensland (BQ) fees and Basketball Australia fees are a 365-day products and are valid for 365 days from the date of payment; if your BQ fees are due before the season ends, you will be required to pay them at the time of registering for the season, and your expiry date will be extended for another 12months from the original expiry date.

Brisbane Basketball Inc. (BBI) fees:

Important Update: BBI are changing their fee structure from the 2026 Season 1, previously players were charged a registration fee.
Now players will pay a competition fee which will be applied to each competition that an individual registers for. Members who have a current BBI registration that extends into the coming season will receive a refund for the portion that overlaps the season dates. Refunds will be processed from October (juniors) and February (seniors).
Competition fee is $67.50

Basketball Queensland Registrations (BQ):
All payers are required to be registered with Basketball Queensland. If you are not already a member, a one-off annual fee of $83.92 will be charged.

Basketball Australia (BA):
Basketball Australia game development fee: $5.50.

2026 GBL Gold

Men $150.00
Women $128.00

2026 GBL Silver and U23s - $128.00

2026 social competitions - $123.00 per team

Game fees cover the cost of court hire, score bench persons & qualified referees and are divided evenly between players and paid prior to the game start time. Fees must be paid in full using the team pay app prior to the game start time. If game fees are not paid prior to tip off the game will not commence.

Forfeits

If you need to send through a forfeit this is done via the team pay app. You may be charged additional fees for a forfeit.
